300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

To make the Drink (produces 850ml, serving 10)

400ml good quality vodka

200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish

Directions

Making the Cordial: Combine all the components in a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, stirring so the sugar melts. After that, turn off the burner allowing it to cool entirely. Transfer to a clean bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it will last for about one month.

To make Premix: Combine every spirits and syrup into one big jug, let it rest for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using muslin, making it completely strained.

To serve: Add 85ml of your batch mix into a stirring glass containing ice, and agitate gently for one minute to cool it down. Pour to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, garnish with a few cranberries adding the final touch with a light spray of the essential oil over the top.
