The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear mismatched, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the companion and best friend, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the team access locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This means them no alternative but to head to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on the upcoming Thursday.
